Ex-Hollyoaks star Roxanne McKee has revealed that she turned down an offer to return to the soap.
McKee’s character Louise Summers was seemingly killed off by ex-fiance Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) in 2008.
However, she told Inside Soap: “I did get a call to return, but I had other commitments at the time, so I wasn’t able to go back.”
The 31-year-old, who has starred in BBC Three’s Lip Service and HBO’s acclaimed Game of Thrones since leaving the teen show, admitted that she is not ruling out a reappearance.
McKee added: “It would be fun to revisit Louise - she’s a sneaky character, so she could still be around.”
“We never actually saw her body, and I filmed a scene before I left with Louise still alive, so it could be used at any time.”
The actress originally told Digital Spy of her plan to rejoin the serial three months after her character had ‘died’.
McKee is guest starring in tonight’s new episode of Lewis airing at 8pm on ITV1.
Name and age → Doreah, 19
House → none
Potential love interests → Daenerys, Quinn, any
What’s happened so far → Blaine Stark is locked up in Winterfell along with Samuel Lannister, who he seems to be rather fond of. Sansa is still with the Queen and Joffrey, even though Blaine wanted her to escape and get across the Narrow sea. Bran is ”dead”. Arya’s with Tywin Lannister. Samuel’s sending ravens to Milya, who concerned about Cersei’s behavior. In Qarth, Daenerys is sick with worry because she doesn’t have her dragons and Quinn’s trying to find them. Noah Baratheon is stuck at the old Targaryen fortress with Santana. Margaery is still angry because of her husband’s death.

With writer/director Declan O’Brien’s Wrong Turn 5 having wrapped today in Bulgaria, here’s an exclusive and extensive photo gallery from our set visit, and an update on the production. Read on!
Having just returned from four days on the Sofia, Bulgaria set (the production at the time was shooting at UFO Studios just outside the city), here’s a bit of a casting update. As we previously reported television actress Camilla Arfwedson has joined the cast of the film as ‘Sheriff Angela,’ the female lead who finds herself at odds with the series’ backwoods nemeses The Hillicker Brothers, this time portrayed by Bobi Dilev as ‘Three Finger’ (the only actor to ever reprise that role in the series), Radoslav Purvanov as ‘One Eye’ and Georgi Karlukovski as ‘Saw Tooth.’
Joining them are actors Simon Ginty as ‘Billy,’ Oliver Hoare as ‘Julian,’ Amy Lennox as ‘Cruz,’ Paul Luebke (Djinn) as ‘Gus,’ Duncan Wisbey as ‘Mose,’ Kyle Redmond -Jones (The Edge of Love) as ‘Deputy Biggs,’ Peter Brooke as ‘Jason,’ horror-vet Doug Bradley (Hellraiser) as ‘Maynard,’ Roxanne McKee (“Game of Thrones”) as ‘Lita,’ Finn Jones as ‘Teddy,’ Andrew Bone as ‘George,’ and Rosie Holden as ‘Ginny.’
Produced by Jeff Beach and Philip Roth, Wrong Turn 5 employed the SFX Makeup talents of Valentin Vulov and Lubomir, with Kess Bonnet serving as the Production Designer and Emil Topuzov as the Director of Photography. Filmed over the course of nineteen days, the time we spent on the set was filled with Grand Guignol-inspired slaughter, impressive car crashes, gun-fire, decaptitation, ingestion of intenstines, and one rather momentous explosion, to start. With a short post-production phase, the flick is slated for an October, 2012 release via 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
Coming shortly, video interviews with filmmaker O’Brien (this will be the third Wrong Turn flick he’s helmed) and star Bradley, as well as extensive behind-the-scenes video and in-depth set visit coverage as the flick’s release nears.
